Tough Mudder Charity Challenge

The team at Medela recently got their running shoes on to tackle the ultimate obstacle course to raise funds for leading UK charity, Bliss. The Medela team including Marketing Manager Charlotte, Territory Sales Manager Helen, Marketing Assistant Faye and seven others dove head first into the epic obstacles that awaited them to raise as much as they could for their chosen charity. They completed the Tough Mudder 5 kilometre mud infested course with an abundance of team spirit and determination.

Bliss was founded in 1979 with one mission; to ensure that more babies not only survive but also go on to have the best possible quality of life. Today, it is one of the leading UK charities, not only supporting sick and premature babies, along with their families, but campaigning for improved hospital resources and supporting pioneering neonatal research.

Charlotte, Marketing Manager at Medela UK commented “Raising money for a charity is something we are all passionate about at Medela. Bliss is a charity that is close to all of our hearts and given the nature of the work we do and families we support at Medela, it seemed like a fitting cause to support. The Tough Mudder challenge was great fun and it is safe to say that all our training paid off in the end with over £900 raised. It certainly won’t be the last fundraising event we take part in so watch this space!
